The Settings app includes Storage Sense, a feature that automatically runs when the storage is low in space. Alongside the ability to delete temporary files, you can also enable the feature to delete files in the recycle bin or Downloads folder that haven’t changed in the last 30 days. However, it is limited and doesn’t offer an option to monitor additional folders to delete files that haven’t changed in the previous 60 days.
When you store temporary files from the internet or projects in different folders, it’s possible to use the ForFiles command in Command Prompt and Task Scheduler to delete files from any folder older than a specific number of days.
In this guide, you will learn the steps to manually delete files that haven’t been modified in a specific number of days and the instructions to create an automated task that will delete files older than a certain number of days inside any folder on Windows 10.

AES Crypt is free file encryption software available on several operating systems that uses the industry standard Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) to easily and securely encrypt files.
You do not need to be an expert to use AES Crypt, nor do you need to understand cryptography. AES Crypt is designed to be as simple to use as possible, yet still provide the strongest encryption strength available. With over a million downloads, AES Crypt has made it easy for so many people to secure information.
Using a powerful 256-bit encryption algorithm, AES Crypt can safely secure your most sensitive files. Once a file is encrypted, you do not have to worry about a person reading your sensitive information, as an encrypted file is completely useless without the password. It simply cannot be read.
AES Crypt is the perfect tool for anyone who carries sensitive information with them while traveling, uploads sensitive files to servers on the Internet, or wishes to protect sensitive information from being stolen from the home or office. AES Crypt is also the perfect solution for those who wish to backup information and store that data at a bank, in a cloud-based storage service, and any place where sensitive files might be accessible by someone else.
